“My first piece of French porcelain was a soufflé dish. My mother purchased a soufflé dish when she taught herself to make a chocolate soufflé from Julia Child’s cookbook, but we used that dish all year round to make spoon bread, fruit crisps and the holiday spinach-artichoke casserole. To me, a soufflé dish was a hard working and essential piece of kitchen equipment—it cooked well and looked great on the table. Fast forward a few years when I fell in love with Revol butter dishes. I brought them back from my trips to Paris and gave them as gifts to my friends and family. They were practical and beautiful! As the years went by, my collection of French porcelain grew as did the ways that I used it. As a bonafide Francophile, I love the style and function of Revol. And, I am excited to present my collection of Elizabeth’s Everyday Essentials by Revol.
I curated the collection to fit the way I cook and entertain with a simple, organic and Southern style. The assortment of easy entertaining pieces as well as cooking and baking pans fit my very American way of cooking, baking and entertaining with a touch of French chic!
I think that food is the purest form of communication and a sense of humor and whimsy is important to me. I have infused that real world, real food attitude into the names of each of the pieces in this 10-piece line. Each one of these pieces will become your go-tos and are designed to be multi-functional—after all, who wants a pot or pan or plate with only one use?
The color-scheme is black, red and white—my favorite cooking colors ! Each piece comes with suggestions on how to use and at least one of my favorite recipes. When you buy a piece of Elizabeth’s Everyday Essentials, you can register by email to receive bonus recipes for your piece. Since each piece in my collection can be used for a number of purposes, I hope that you will find yourself reaching for them everyday, just like I do.”
Bon Appetit!
